DXC Technology Faces Employee Discontent Over Stalled Promotions and Salary Hikes

These employees, referred to internally as DECPs (Digital Entry-level Consulting Professionals), have expressed frustration over the company’s failure to deliver on promised promotions and salary increases, even after more than two years of service.

Promises Deferred

When these employees were onboarded, they were informed that the promotion cycle at DXC Technology would occur every 18 months. However, as the 18-month mark passed with no changes to their roles or compensation, the timeline was pushed to 24 months. Now, in what seems like a never-ending cycle of delays, the promotion cycle has been extended to 30 months, with no clear communication on what employees can expect once they reach this milestone.

Promotions Without Pay Increases

Compounding the frustration is the fact that some DECPs have been promoted to roles with increased responsibilities, yet their compensation has remained unchanged. These employees were informed that while their roles and titles were being upgraded, there would be no corresponding salary hike. This has led to widespread disappointment, as many feel that they are being asked to do more without being fairly compensated for the additional workload.

“I was excited to be promoted and take on more responsibilities, but when I found out that my salary would stay the same, it felt like a hollow victory,” said one employee who received a promotion but no pay increase. “It’s disheartening to put in extra effort and not see any financial recognition for it.”

Employee Discontent Grows
